Ben Eine

Ben Eine, an artist with 25 years experience under his belt, is known as one of the most successful street artists in the world, best known for spray-painting bright and colourful giant letters in his distinct typographic style. Eine painted the entire alphabet on shop shutters down Middlesex Street in London.In 2010 Eine’s work, Twenty First Century City, was presented to Barack Obama by David Cameron. Eine aims to teach people that street art is distinct from graffiti as it considers the audience.

After being awarded the 2016 Society for Cinema and Media Studies Outstanding Contribution to Pedagogy Award, Dr Atakav continues to work on a council funded project on British Muslim Values.

Having suffered a spinal cord injury that left her an active wheelchair user, Gem is not one to be limited to the movements of her wheelchair. Instead, with her YouTube channel Wheels no heels, she begun an online movement with her positive outlook. She views what people term a disability as a superpower, and advocates the idea of being content in yourself. Gem's views stem from her own personal experiences and life, and will definitely be like a breath of fresh air on the 24th!

Katy identifies as a non-binary transgender, and firmly believes that things like names, pronouns and gender do not define a person. They can speak half a dozen languages, and have worked as a photographer, taught theology, worked in PR and is now involved in the LGBTIQA+ activism, educating and training on gender, sexuality, mental health awareness and against all forms of stigma and prejudice. Having studied economics, statistics, theology, archaeology, Hebrew (and many more subjects), Katy has various lenses with which they views the world.
